Mr. McKenna worked for ten plus years for one of Americas leading Building Products manufacturers GAF Materials Corp. In the field Jim developed relationships with product end users (Contractors, Builders, Architects and Specifiers) along with working with local one step and two step distribution as well as with National distribution chains including Home Depot. Jim grew his territory 700% achieving over ten national awards including presidents club.
Prior to working for GAF Jim worked in the communications industry for SkyTel selling to C level cliental in national accounts such as IBM, PepsiCo, Morgan Stanley and AIG. Here Jim won Presidents Club in his first year of employment.
He started his professional career at ADP selling payroll services to small and midsized companies exceeding his sales plan every year and winning numerous awards and recognition both regionally and nationally.
Jim earned a BS in Business and Administration from Siena College in Loudonville, NY. He currently resides in Bucks County Pennsylvania with his wife and two young children.
Mr. Rice has over Fifteen years of experience working in the Construction Industry. From the start of his career Patrick started estimating for a medium size Excavator (Amato Construction Corp.) on projects ranging from five acres to a hundred acres. From start to finish he developed skills in Material Purchasing, Hiring Sub-Contractors, Proposals and Submittals.
Patrick left Amato construction and joined Kings Park Industries a major player in the Long Island Asphalt business. While at KPI Patrick’s true passion was discovered with such large undertakings as repaving the Long Island Expressway Route 495, Reconstruction of the main thruway in and out of Long Islands Stony Brook University Hospital and overseeing many other complex and challenging projects.
After a long hard search and a little help from a Recruiter, Patrick landed a position with Asplundh Construction Corp, a two billion dollar plus utility contractor. Patrick was hired to spear head Asplundh’s expansion into General Construction where his knowledge of the construction industry was tested. His responsibilities included; crew management, union negotiations, interaction with the corporate office, estimating, equipment procurement and most importantly who to HIRE. Patrick became an expert on building strong teams of quality people and attaining them.
Patrick earned a Degree in Civil Engineering. He currently resides with his wife and two sons in Bucks County Pennsylvania.
Jill St. Thomas
Prior to her career at DSP, Ms. St.Thomas worked for eight plus years in Human Resources, Benefits Consulting and Marketing for several large companies such as General Accident Insurance, ADQ Inc. /New York Life, and Mattel. Jill has effectively communicated and interacted at all organizational levels.
She made the transition to recruiting after staying home a few years to raise her family. She has always been a people person.
